Teach Your Little One to Be Thankful With These Praise Songs

I recently shared memory verses on thankfulness that toddlers and preschoolers can memorize. I thought I'd continue with the theme and share some thankful songs for little ones. There's a mixture of silly and solemn... well, preschooler solemn.... but they are sure to make for one awesome praise party while you teach your little one to always give thanks to God!

Don't be a Turkey Just Say Thanks

This song is from Yancy & Friends Little Praise Party Best Friend (my favorite preschool worship music, by the way) and it has just the right touch of silly with a good message about giving thanks to God. It's a fun one to dance, too!

God Is Good To Me

This one is a little slower but it's definitely still danceable (I know, not a word). There's also some good parts for spinning, wiggling, shouting and other movements that toddlers will love. God is Good To Me is also from  Little Praise Party

The Butterfly Song

This is an oldie but a goodie. I remember this being one of my favorite songs when I was a little girl. I am so happy that my son loves it, too. At this age, he loves animals. So, this is the perfect song to remind him to be thankful to God for making him.

Thank You Lord for Making Me

I love this song. Perhaps maybe even more than my son! We both enjoy singing this one and doing the actions. And, again, it's a fun reminder, not just that God made us, but that we should thank Him for it!

God Is So Good

You can slow the tempo down with this classic worship song. This one is also from Little Praise Party. (I told you I love it!)
