It's time to go green and I don't mean turning in your recyclables (but, that's a good thing, you should totally do that). St. Patrick's Day is fast approaching, which means it's time to bring out the green attire, green dye and, of course, the green inspired activities and crafts! I have an extremely easy Sticky Shamrock activity to share with you that is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers.

On a recent trip to Hobby Lobby for some "potty sticker", as my son calls them, I found myself perusing the seasonal aisles. Of course, I ended up buying way more than potty stickers. I picked up these Sticky Shamrocks for a fun St. Patrick's Day activity. Don't worry if you don't have sticky shamrocks, you can use a shamrock template instead.
Glue Stick (If you are using a shamrock template)
Green Easter Grass
If you are using a template for shamrocks, download, print and cut out the shamrock(s) - I recommend three to four (or more!). Cut or tear the green tissue paper into small pieces. Set our the supplies for your child.
Assist your child, as needed, with peeling off the sticker from the shamrock or spreading glue all over the shamrock if you are using a paper shamrock. Let your child choose an item to place on the shamrock (or mix and match!). If you think there is one item your child might fixate on, hold on to that item for last!
